This cooling and therapeutic superlative body balm lives up to its name and penetrates deep into the skin to relieve tension and pain. A blend of effective plant ingredients such as arnica, ginger, turmeric, and boswellia combats inflammation, pain, and discomfort, while moisture-rich emollients like jojoba oil and shea butter alleviate dryness. Thyme extract has a cleansing and antiseptic effect, while menthol creates a refreshing cooling sensation by blocking the calcium flow along the nerves responsible for temperature perception. Inflammation is prevented while pain, swelling, and headaches or migraines are alleviated.

Suitable for: All skin types

Used as: Body cream, especially for pain and muscle tension

Boswellia extract is obtained from the Boswellia tree, which grows in the dry mountainous regions of India, North Africa, and the Middle East. Its resin extract has been used medicinally for thousands of years and remains a staple in Ayurvedic practice. Boswellia has strong anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to relieve pain and symptoms associated with osteoarthritis and ulcerative colitis. Studies indicate that it may also help with asthma, fine lines and wrinkles (when applied topically), and inflammatory bowel diseases. Arnica extract is derived from a flowering plant that primarily grows in Europe, Siberia, and parts of North America. It has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects and has long been used in both traditional and homeopathic medicine for pain relief and to alleviate bruises and swelling. It has also been reported that arnica extract increases resistance to bacterial infections. The Jojoba is an evergreen shrub found in parts of the American Southwest and Argentina. Jojoba oil is extracted or pressed from its seeds. It is a rich emollient and is used to moisturize and soften skin and hair. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and alleviate the effects of various skin conditions. Ginger is a perennial herb native to Southeast Asia. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, pain-relieving, and antibacterial properties, it is one of the most commonly used natural remedies in the world. With its high antioxidant content, ginger protects against damage to the body's DNA, helping to prevent the onset of various chronic diseases. Additionally, it suppresses inflammation and the associated pain.

Nature of Things

Drawn from nature and confirmed by science. This is the philosophy of the modern wellness house Natureofthings. Founded in 2019 by JP Collett and Jamie Leilani Pelayo in Newport Beach, California, they aim to create harmony between mind, body, and the natural world, drawing on the wisdom of nature. With formulas that are equally curative and preventive, their approach is based on the pursuit of holistic well-being. They not only value ingredients but also hold themselves and their partners to the highest standards in every aspect of production, creating each product without demographic constraints. The origin of their name is inspired by the poem "De Rerum Natura" (translated as "Nature of Things"), written around 50 BC by the Roman poet Lucretius, in which he states that the removal of pain and fear allows people to live a truly pleasant life. And that is exactly what Natureofthings aims to achieve with their line. They use natural and safe ingredients that have been shown to alleviate stress, anxiety, pain, and inflammation, calm the mind, and beautify the skin. They believe it is right to feel good, but they know that quick fixes and fast answers are not enough to achieve this goal. Caring for oneself is a daily endeavor. It means tuning into the rhythms of one's own body and those of the world around you. It means being present in the moment to create a healthier foundation for the future. Of course, Natureofthings does not claim these ideas as its own. They are practically as old as time. Yet they are powerful and true.
