An exclusive selection of sustainable, high-quality, and predominantly vegan facial care products. Since every skin type is different and has different needs, each skin type requires a tailored routine. It is therefore relevant to recognize your own skin type in order to understand which products are suitable. Here you will find everything you might need, whether for dry skin, very sensitive skin, mature skin, or combination skin. Recognizing your skin type: To understand how you can take good care of your skin, it is important to find out what skin type you have. Your skin type determines which products might be helpful for your skin and which might not, as each skin type has different requirements. Normal skin: The skin feels neither oily nor dry and usually has a very even texture. The pores are often rather small, and the skin appears balanced. It tends to be drier rather than prone to blemishes. With this skin type, you are lucky, as it doesn't require much. However, a few products, such as sunscreen, should not be excluded to keep the skin in top condition. Dry skin: Dry skin can appear brittle, cracked, flaky, and red. It often tends to itch, irritate, and feels tight. Environmental factors such as hot air, wind, or air conditioning, as well as stress, diet, and hormone levels often play a role here. In this skin type, the skin barrier is weakened, making the skin more susceptible to harmful environmental influences, and for example, the first signs of skin aging can appear more quickly. Oily skin: Oily skin tends to leave an oily film on the skin and has enlarged or irritated pores due to excessive sebum production that clogs the pores. The sebaceous glands produce this oily substance to form a protective film for the skin and thus stop harmful external influences. The advantage of oily skin is that it is usually well-hydrated, and therefore signs of skin aging often appear later. However, impurities, acne, and pimples often occur here. Combination skin: Combination skin has a rather oily complexion with dry areas – usually areas outside the "T-zone" (forehead, nose, and chin). The cheeks are often dry, while the T-zone is oily and prone to impurities. Different factors play a role here as well, such as stress, but also environmental factors. Very sensitive skin: This skin can be oily, normal, or even dry, but it usually tends to be drier. The skin reacts quickly with irritation, becomes irritated, and redness occurs, especially when too many products are used in the routine or the wrong products are used. Mature skin: Mature skin is not a distinct skin type in itself, but rather should be seen as an addition. Over time, the skin loses elasticity, causing the complexion to often appear dull and lifeless. This impression is also caused by the fact that the skin tends to be drier with age and becomes more sensitive, which means it should be supplied with and regenerated by nutrients more intensively. Especially around the eyes and mouth, wrinkles become noticeable quickly. The skin here is thinner than in the rest of the face and often drier as well. In addition to genetic influences, external factors also affect skin aging. The most important of these is UV radiation. Their influence is the main reason for the premature formation of wrinkles. Lifestyle habits and diet are also important for your skin's appearance. For example, smokers tend to age visually faster than non-smokers.
