Abel was founded in Amsterdam in 2013 by former winemaker and New Zealander Frances Shoemack after her search for a natural fragrance that was chic, modern and long-lasting failed. Working with Sao Paulo-based master perfumer Isaac Sinclair, she developed a range of natural unisex fragrances that are not only made from 100% natural ingredients, but are uncompromisingly modern and long-lasting. Den Start mag ich leider so gar nicht. Ist es das Neroli? Riecht irgendwie nach… 4711?! Dafür wird es danach um so schöner. Leicht fruchtig, ganz zart holzig, oder ist das der Tee? Leider bleibt der Duft seeehr nah und strahlt nicht wirklich aus. Wer einen leisen, gepflegten, Alltagsbegleiter sucht, sollte hier zugreifen. Besonders bei den tollen Inhaltsstoffen.
Parallelen zu dem Duft von Byredo sehe ich übrigens nicht, dieser hier ist einmalig.
