In the top note, cassis and tangerine complement the clear tingle, while saffron in combination with a leather accord soothes with its warm tones. Light woods, amber and vanilla finally anchor elegance, discretion and security in the base note of the fragrance. Behind the Fragrance

The inspiration for this signature fragrance lies in youthful emotions, the highs and lows of the teenage years - in their intensity, boldness and openness. As a brother of a sister and father of a teenage daughter, Byredo's creative director Ben Gorham wanted to capture the dynamics of young female (and male) emotions in a fragrance that would capture "the confusing change of generations, the complicated existence of the genders and a triumphant - yet innocent - sense of self."

Byredo

Byredo was founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham in Stockholm with an ambition to translate memories and emotions into the form of everyday products. Born to an Indian mother and a Canadian father, Ben grew up in Toronto, New York and Stockholm. He graduated from the Stockholm art school with a degree in fine arts, but a chance meeting with perfumer Pierre Wulff convinced him that he'd rather create fragrances than paintings. As an outsider in the beauty industry, he is somewhat of an anomaly and has created a unique position in the market for his personal style and connection to fashion and art. In contrast to the typical Scandinavian esthetics, Byredo carries clear ethnic influences from Ben’s Indian background with strong ties to creativity, art and lifestyle. Byredo's approach to letting creations be led by emotion is expressed through a full and limitless brand universe. Each product is developed using the highest quality materials available and design details. According to Ben, creativity enables us to develop timeless products, both meaningful and inspirational, to people and their lives.
