The healing properties of blue tansy, also known as Blue Tansy, are due to its high content of the pigment azulene, which gives the product its striking sapphire blue color while soothing and healing damaged skin. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is highly effective against redness, making it ideal for irritated and acne-prone skin. White willow bark is a natural form of salicylic acid (beta-hydroxy acid or BHA) with a high content of anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial salicin, which reduces skin blemishes and clogged pores while improving skin texture. Zinc PCA balances the skin's natural oils and prevents blemishes by reducing sebum production and redness while keeping the skin hydrated. Similar to hyaluronic acid, it is a humectant, meaning it helps retain water in the skin rather than letting it evaporate. Additionally, it has anti-aging properties as it can inhibit destructive enzymes in the skin that damage the skin surface and can lead to wrinkles.
