Years later, when Douglas realized there was upheaval happening everywhere - GMOs in food, parabens in creams and aluminum in deodorants were being banned, only the fragrance industry remained hidden - he wanted to create something different: a fragrance company that was authentic, sustainable and radically transparent - who they are, what they make and how they make it. Douglas sees in natural elements and plants a unique beauty that cannot be imitated. While other companies hide toxic or synthetic substances under the words "fragrance" or "perfume," Heretic is more than proud to share their ingredients openly and fully.
