Hibiscus extract is a natural source of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAS), compounds known in the beauty world for their ability to exfoliate the upper layers of the skin and reveal a fresher, younger and smoother complexion. In addition, they have toning and firming properties and are highly moisturising. Awarded the European Innovation Award for Best Active Ingredient, Swiss apple stem cells protect skin cells and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The rare Swiss apple is known for its longevity. Rich in phytonutrients and proteins, it has the unique ability to heal itself. Niacinamide is a water-soluble form of vitamin B3. Like most vitamins, it is essential for skin and hair as it has antioxidant properties and protects hair from the harmful effects of UV rays, which weaken the hydrolipid film, which in the long term leads to the loss of keratin and dehydration of the hair fibre. Niacinamide also stimulates the production of keratin, the main component of the hair fiber. By stimulating the synthesis of this protein, niacinamide gives the hair shine, flexibility and texture. Niacinamide regulates the production of sebum in the scalp, reducing possible itching and regulating the appearance of fatty layers. It helps prevent clogging of the hair follicles and maintains a healthy scalp.
