The perfume house Atl. was founded in 2016 by designer Mario Lombardo. Oblique originated from the idea of capturing one's life path and childhood memories in scent chords. The result: unique fragrance compositions composed in the French perfume cities of Grasse and Paris, handcrafted in Germany, with the highest content and design standards in the spirit of Bauhaus philosophy.
Atl. Oblique's collection ranges from "Marble Sea", which evokes the open, salty, and pulsating sea, to "Saint", which accompanies you when a flirt turns into a passionate dance. When longing and homesickness meet in the midst of a dense, dry forest and begin to dance with "Bohemian Woods", or when the rain shower of "April Skies" surprises us despite a cloudless sky and awakens the inner child in us – wild, independent, and full of life. These are just a few glimpses into the fragrance world of Atl. Oblique.

Behind the Fragrance

In search of new forms of expression, designer Mario Lombardo founded the fragrance house Atl. Oblique in Berlin in 2016 to capture his life and childhood memories in olfactory chords. The name Oblique is derived from the French term for "italic", i.e. a slanted font, and thus builds bridges between the fragrance house and Lombardo's design roots. In his work, Lombardo playfully overcomes stylistic boundaries and dares to do the balancing act between a wide variety of disciplines that often seem incompatible, thereby creating new connections in language, space, aesthetics and material. Composed in the French perfume cities of Grasse and Paris and handcrafted in Germany, the fragrances meet the highest content and design standards in the spirit of the Bauhaus philosophy. In addition to unique fragrance compositions, the unisex Eau de Parfum line impresses with small editions and simple packaging design.
