Hyun Yeu used to design menswear, but his focus has always been on the aesthetics and beauty of men in general. For Hyun, fabrics, colors and shapes are just as closely linked to feelings as fragrances, with fragrances being the most important element for him. Through a scent, you can immediately tell whether a person suits you and whether the chemistry is right. “We fantasize,” Hyun Yeu explains the concept of HUNQ perfumes, “about certain types of men and imagine their scents. It's all about chemistry." He wanted to capture this energetic chemistry and therefore founded his HUNQ brand in Amsterdam in 2023. The gardener, the bartender, the carpenter, the lifeguard and other types strikingly represent certain fragrances and the emotions associated with them. But HUNQ is by no means a purely male perfume collection. Rather, it is about the strong stories and feelings that these fragrances convey.
