Hyun Yeu previously designed men's fashion, but his focus has always been on the aesthetics and beauty of men in general. For Hyun, fabrics, colors, and shapes are as closely linked to feelings as fragrances, with scents being the most important element for him. A fragrance immediately reveals whether a person is a good match for you and if the chemistry is right. "We fantasize," explains Hyun Yeu the concept of HUNQ perfumes, "about certain types of men and imagine their scents. It's all about chemistry."He wanted to capture this energetic chemistry and therefore founded his brand HUNQ in Amsterdam in 2023. The gardener, the bartender, the carpenter, the lifeguard, and other types vividly represent certain scents and the emotions associated with them. However, HUNQ is by no means a purely male perfume collection. Rather, it’s about the strong stories and feelings that these fragrances convey.
