Klar Seifen was founded in 1840 by Philipp Klar in Heidelberg. The young master soap maker, who perfected his craft as far as St. Petersburg, opened a workshop with an adjoining shop upon his return. The brand stands for tradition and innovation, preserving classic recipes for over a century while simultaneously developing new ones. The high-quality soaps are made from emblematic raw materials and are known for their longevity and environmentally friendly packaging. Klar Seifen places great emphasis on sustainability, offering palm oil-free, vegan products and removing titanium dioxide from their formulations. The soap production is largely done by hand and remains firmly rooted in the Heidelberg region.
