The young Trice Christiansen has always paid a lot of attention to her skincare routine. She always relied on expensive high-end brands and didn't think much about the effects of the ingredients. One morning, Trice woke up with a noticeable irritation on her face. The sensitive skin around her eyes was purple-tinged, wrinkled, and flaky. At that moment, she thought about what chemical ingredients even high-end cosmetic brands use and what kind of irritating effects they can have on the skin, and that she never wanted to use such products again. She looked for a biological and plant-based alternative that wouldn't compromise on effectiveness or design. She, just like many other women before her, found nothing. Therefore, Trice Christiansen decided to launch her own cosmetic brand, Raaw in a Jar. "I wanted a beauty routine that is good for my skin, my body, and the environment."To meet her demands for organic and sustainable cosmetics, Trice completed a degree where she learned about plant medicine and the healing effects of natural ingredients. To deepen her knowledge, she learned about additional benefits from Eastern countries.
