Musk scents

Due to ethical concerns and the near extinction of the musk deer, natural musk is rarely used today. Synthetic musk, also called "white musk," is the modern alternative that mimics the scent and its properties while being more sustainable. Synthetic musk is a more delicate and less animalic scent compared to natural musk. It is often described as soft, clean and powdery. Today, musk is a key ingredient in many perfumes, giving them depth and warmth.
