Fragrance notes that stand out most: rose, oud, raspberry, amber, vanilla, wood and musk.

Use:
1: Unscrew the lid of the container and apply the desired amount of the elixir to the pulse points such as wrists, behind the ears, on the neck or wherever you want to feel the effects of the elixir. About two dabs should be enough. Due to the high content of absolutes, please do not rub vigorously. A light and gentle stroke with the index finger to ensure saturation of the skin is all that is required.
2: Wipe off any oud elixir residue that has accumulated on the elixir bottle cap onto your skin. Or wipe it off with a cloth (Aaron does not recommend this as it is unnecessarily wasteful).
3: Once the glass rod and the top of the elixir bottle are free of oud elixir, SLOWLY insert the rod back into the bottle. This will prevent elixir from remaining on the outside varnish.
Please note that due to the high content of Oud, Rose and Vanilla, continued contact with the exterior paint of the elixir bottle will cause the paint to soften and peel off. This is the nature of the paint.
If you take care of your elixir bottle and carefully remove the glass rod, the bottle should remain in perfect condition.

Oud Elixir can be worn alone or layered under a Rose & Oud fragrance to increase depth and sensuality.

Behind the Fragrance

This perfume is an attar (also called ittar) - a highly concentrated, all-natural perfume traditionally made by distilling flowers, herbs, spices or other botanicals in an oil, often sandalwood or another stable vehicle, and generally without alcohol. Attars are deeply rooted in Lavender, South Asian and Arabian perfume traditions and are prized for their richness, longevity and complexity.

Aaron Terence Hughes

Aaron Terence Hughes launched his eponymous fragrance brand in 2019 with the vision of creating bold, boundary-crossing scents that reflect his distinctive personality and craftsmanship. Aaron has always loved perfumery and spent his early pocket money on essential oils. Growing up on a flower farm in Cornwall had a wonderful effect on his sense of smell. He would crush flowers directly on his arm and was fascinated by the separation of the floral components as his skin warmed up. He started his brand with a background in biochemistry and a passion for tattoo art, which has greatly influenced his aesthetic. The perfumes are characterized by their unadulterated intensity, innovative compositions, and high concentrations of Extrait de Parfum, making them long-lasting and powerful. One of the core values of the brand is transparency. Hughes is known for his openness regarding the ingredients he uses, the ethical sourcing of materials, and the creative process behind each fragrance. He is passionately committed to ethical principles and feels a strong connection to the world he lives in. His fragrances are cruelty-free and mostly vegan - in a few of his scents, he uses certified, ethically sourced amber. The brand maintains close contact with its community, frequently engaging with its customers on social media and tailoring fragrances based on their feedback. Aaron Terence Hughes is not only the owner of the brand and perfumer but also a well-known YouTuber in the fragrance community. On his YouTube channel, he provides detailed insights into his creative process, the inspiration behind his perfumes, and his overall philosophy of perfume making. All ATH perfumes have a fragrance oil concentration of 30% to 40%.
