Abel was founded in Amsterdam in 2013 by former winemaker and New Zealander Frances Shoemack after her search for a natural fragrance that was chic, modern and long-lasting failed. Working with Sao Paulo-based master perfumer Isaac Sinclair, she developed a range of natural unisex fragrances that are not only made from 100% natural ingredients, but are uncompromisingly modern and long-lasting. Pleasure should not have a negative impact on the earth and its inhabitants, they say. They believe in the ability to enrich daily life in a way that has never been done before. Rather than suppressing the personality with a constant intensity, the beauty of all natural ingredients is that they evolve on the skin and work with the natural body chemistry to create a unique fragrance.
