201 is a fruity, floral composition with a green dimension.  It starts with a fruity facet of apple and pear. In the heart note, magnolia combines with lily of the valley. The base note is fruity with woody notes in the background. The soothing musk accents give this creation softness.
The scents of Bon Parfumeur can be mixed or "layered" with each other. Depending on the desired intensity, one can spray the recommended combination option from the product description over the actual fragrance. This perfume combines particularly well with 001 for a fresh note, with 101 for a floral note, and with 801 for an aquatic freshness.

Top notes: Bergamot, Granny Smith, black currant leaf, pear Heart notes: Magnolia, freesia, pansy, lily of the valley Base notes: Cedarwood, vetiver, musk

Hinter dem Duft

Have you ever seen a marigold? A beautiful name for a very pretty flower that grows on the arid plains of South America. This particular variety is also called the French marigold. It resembles other more familiar kinds of marigold, with beautiful warm colors and velvety-soft petals. In pre-Colombian civilizations, this flower was used to honor the dead. This ingredient smells very delicate and subtle. Its green and fruity floral aromas will definitely remind you of green apple or chamomile. It has only been used in perfumery for a few years.

Don’t we all love vetiver? While we can’t say that vetiver is THE finest ingredient in perfumery as there are so many others, it is definitely one of our favorites and we’re sure you’ll agree! In perfumery, its roots are used rather than its long stems. The essential oil is therefore extracted from the rhizomes by distillation. Have you ever had the opportunity to smell essences from different regions? Vetiver is actually grown in Réunion, India, China, Haiti and Java. Incredibly, the essences from Réunion and Java smell very different from one another! The characteristics of the surrounding land directly influence their facets. A Javanese vetiver is smokier and greener, while Haitian vetiver has overtones of grapefruit, making it more bitter. The Réunion kind is the rarest; its notes are crystalclear and characteristic of vetiver: fresh, slightly spicy, woody and earthy. It is a distinguished base note that completes a creation.
