Blanche - Eau de Parfum by Byredo is an olfactory impression of the color white. Light floral notes remind us of freshly washed linen sheets, sun-drenched and airy. The soft combination of sandalwood , blonde woods and musk lends the fragrance a subtly down-to-earth facet. A all in all light scent.

Behind the Fragrance

The idea for Blanche, as the name suggests, is built around Ben Gorham's perception of the color white. For the first time, he has actually created a fragrance for and with a specific person in mind. His personal attempt to capture the innocent and untainted side, with a fragrance that is almost transparent. Blanche also represents an appreciation of classical beauty. The fragrance is pure and simple in structure, but extreme in character.

Byredo

Byredo was founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham in Stockholm with an ambition to translate memories and emotions into the form of everyday products. Born to an Indian mother and a Canadian father, Ben grew up in Toronto, New York and Stockholm. He graduated from the Stockholm art school with a degree in fine arts, but a chance meeting with perfumer Pierre Wulff convinced him that he'd rather create fragrances than paintings. As an outsider in the beauty industry, he is somewhat of an anomaly and has created a unique position in the market for his personal style and connection to fashion and art. In contrast to the typical Scandinavian esthetics, Byredo carries clear ethnic influences from Ben’s Indian background with strong ties to creativity, art and lifestyle.
