Application

Moisten one side of the alum stick slightly and carefully dab it onto the bleeding area. A slight burning sensation is normal. Alum stones should not be used (or not regularly) on large areas of shaved skin (i.e. not daily as an aftershave or as a deodorant after shaving your armpits), but primarily as a blood stopper.

Alum draws moisture from the air and should therefore not be stored in damp places (shower)!
