Milky Way 10% AHA + Oat Soothing Exfoliating Serum

A gentle, powerful acid blend of 10% AHA and 3% PHA instantly retextures the skin. AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and PHA (poly hydroxy acids) are organic molecules found in cosmetic formulations and are widely known for their potential to address key skin issues: aging, hyperpigmentation, acne, and uneven complexion. Both have the main advantage of being able to chemically exfoliate the skin by accelerating the removal of dead cells from the skin's surface. In this way, they promote cell renewal, even out skin tone, and reduce signs of aging. PHAs have a higher molecular weight and can penetrate the skin more slowly than AHAs. This property is particularly beneficial for the most sensitive skin, as they provide an alternative to using AHAs, with their irritation potential being virtually zero. Additionally, PHAs increase the skin's moisture content and are excellent antioxidants. Lactobionic acid, maltobionic acid, and gluconolactone are examples of PHAs that are very well tolerated by sensitive skin. Application: Apply one to two pumps to the skin in the evening, two to three times a week after cleansing. Then apply a moisturizer and avoid direct contact with the eyes. If the serum gets into the eyes, rinse with water.
