Italian tomato skin is a natural ingredient that protects against UV damage and free radicals, which can linger on the skin long after sun exposure. The extract from the leaves of the Sicilian prickly pear is known for its ability to reduce inflammation and promote regeneration and repair. Myrtus communis and Pistacia lentiscus leaf extracts are derived from the leaves of the Sicilian myrtle and mastic, enhancing skin protection and increasing its antioxidant capacity. Apricot juice is a natural antioxidant rich in nourishing phenolic compounds and vitamin C, while acerola cherry ferment is a strong source of revitalizing antioxidants. The fermentation process increases the availability of the natural ingredients in this superfruit to nourish and hydrate the skin. Cucumber juice, a purely plant-based anti-inflammatory, is added to soothe and cool sunburned skin.
