"Le Calendula" by Melyon is the result of artisanal craftsmanship of unparalleled quality that cannot be industrialized. The process guarantees a very creamy, rich, and moisturizing lather that is gentle on the skin. This Calendula soap, for face and body, is enriched with natural glycerin, which provides an exceptionally soft and moisturizing experience. It is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components, making it perfect even for the most sensitive skin. The sweet orange provides a warm scent, which is supported by the addition of organic calendula flowers and turmeric.

The Calendula is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean region. Its bright, sunny flowers and pleasant herbal scent make the marigold a popular decorative plant, while it also offers numerous benefits in treating skin issues, including acne and irritations. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to reduce transepidermal water loss, it helps decrease skin sensitivity and soothe irritations, which in turn strengthens the skin's defenses against potential irritants. It is rich in natural antioxidants and can protect the skin from oxidative stress, a term that encompasses the damage caused when the skin is exposed to free radicals or reactive oxygen species. Marigold flowers are rich in antioxidant compounds, including flavonoids, polyphenols, and carotenoids. These antioxidants help neutralize free radicals and limit their effects on the skin. In practice, this means that Calendula helps protect the skin from stress factors, allowing it to function optimally and maintain its appearance. Calendula is also rich in various skin-friendly oils that improve the skin's moisture barrier.
