Hollyrose - Eau de Parfum by Room 1015 reminds of Cement flowers which flout and sprout on Sunset Boulevard. Powered by the rock star fantasy, deflowered by the love of art, these young innocent roses become clutching vines in twisted poses. From anonymous groupie bedrooms to Hollywood backstage feats by way of their idols’ crumpled bed sheets, these orchid women awaken, leaving a scent of skin, night and caresses in their wake. Petals and thrills under the frills. In the dip of an ankle, like a fragrance of finely worked leather, scratched with tales by the nails of guitar gods. A captivating, alienating trail without fail… Between romanticism and decadence.

Top notes: Black pepper, black currant
Heart notes: Rose Absolute, Orchid
Basic notes: Tuscan leather, patchouli

Behind the Fragrance

“The fragrance Hollyrose is a black leather rose and refers to teenage groupies who ruled over Sunset Boulevard in the 70's. Anita Pallenberg, Bebe Buell, Pamela Des Barres were the muses and queens of the Hollywood scene, dating the likes of Jimmy Page, Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Robert Plant, Iggy Pop… Hangin' out in LA, becoming the next somebody, the next fashion icon on some magazine covers, rock stars and their devotees could parade their sounds of tomorrow dressed in clothes of derision. A perfume as a tribute to these amazing women who sent most powerful rock n' roll men to their knees”. Dr. Mike (Room 1015 Founder)

Room 1015

Stop and rewind to a time when the Continental Hyatt Hotel, aka the “Riot House,” was the place to be. The 70s was a decade of total delirium for any self-respecting rock group. And L.A. was an inevitable stop on the journey. The motorcycles in the hallways, the rooftop pool overflowing with bubbles, Jim Morrison dangling from a balcony, the epic battles of Keith Moon from The Who… Or, even more iconic, the Christ-like Robert Plant who took himself for a Golden God above the Sunset Trip with his angel’s hair, Nepalese bracelets and skimpy T-shirt, convinced that he had finally found the Stairway to Heaven. Today, Room 1015 remains a place of contemplation. The nostalgia of an era of absolute freedom, where the air still holds the lingering smells of sweat, leather, fur, alcohol, a burned patchouli leaf and an open flight case…
