Do not place the candle outdoors or in a draft, near flammable materials, and on heat-sensitive surfaces. Allow the wax surface to become completely liquid the first time you light the candle, so it burns evenly. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish it, as this prevents the wick from smoking and ensures consistent burnability. Trim a long wick to about 5 mm before each subsequent lighting. The scented candle should not be left unattended and should not burn for more than four hours at a time. To avoid burns, let the candle glass cool down well before touching it.
