All work is handcrafted in the Stora Skuggan perfume studio or lab in Stockholm - from the design and production of the fragrances to the creation of the designs and packaging. The perfumes of Stora Skuggan are based on stories that blur the line between myth and reality. At the heart of the brand are these stories, which are conceptualized through scent and art, creating a small and unique universe for each perfume. Fragrances are a way to communicate, tell stories, and experience them. Savings through the use of cheap substitutes for expensive oils only make sense if millions of products are to be sold, which is not their focus. Stora Skuggan wants to continue doing what they do without thinking too much about what is happening in the perfume industry. This may seem ignorant, but the goal has always been to remain autonomous, as it is the best approach to creating unique fragrances.
