Active ingredients

Manuka is the most commonly used native plant of New Zealand. It is used in the deodorant for its soothing and neutralizing properties. Kawakawa (NZ Pepper Tree) is one of the most important plants in Maori medicine. Maori use it externally for cuts, wounds, and bruises, and also apply it to treat toothaches and eczema. Aloe Vera is known for its versatile properties to inhibit bacterial and fungal activity. The soothing and cooling effect of Aloe Vera fits perfectly into the deodorant. An extract of Organic Lavender serves as a carrier to blend all other essential oils together. Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) is alkaline, which means it counteracts the bacteria-loving acids in sweat and is a natural balancing agent for underarm odor. The deodorant formulation has been developed to achieve a low pH that is gentle on the skin but strong enough to prevent the action of bacteria and the odors they produce from occurring in the first place.
