Capri is a summer vacation in Italy. A tribute to the scenery of Villa Malaparte and the iconic film Le Mépris (1963) on the island of Capri. Surrounded by olive groves, the roaring sea, and a soft afternoon breeze, the fresh fruity notes of sweet and bitter orange unfold, paired with cardamom, pink pepper, and mandarin leaf oil. Leaning against the warmth of the rocks, the Moorish villa, and the expanse of the sea creates a cheerful atmosphere. An atmosphere in which the heart notes - galbanum, jasmine, osmanthus, and ylang-ylang - can slowly unfold. A fruity-floral yet slightly sunny-woody composition. Along the sun-warmed streets of Capri, a fruity-clean, very pleasant scent accompanies the desire for a San Pellegrino with a slice of lemon. Light, edgy-fresh, and at the same time very calming.
Burn time approx. 48h. Handcrafted in Italy. For the candles from 19-69, a blend of the highest quality plant waxes is used, processed according to a traditional recipe from 1961.

Top notes: Mandora, Bitter Orange, Sweet Orange, Chamomile, Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Sichuan Pepper, Juniper Berries, Mandarin Oil, Mandarin Leaf Oil, Grapefruit Heart notes: Galbanum, Jasmine, Osmanthus, Ylang Ylang Base notes: Florentine Iris, Ambroxan, Angelica Seed, White Musk

19-69 Nineteen Sixtynine

The perfume cult brand 19-69 was founded by Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin.  A twenty-four-month creative process with artisans in Scandinavia, France, and Italy led to the launch of 5 perfumes in 2017. Each fragrance is inspired by a different era, culture, or backdrop from Africa, Europe, the USA, and Asia. Art, music, trends, and cultures have shaped the fragrances in terms of content, name, and packaging. All fragrances are suitable for any gender and allow individuals to discover beauty across borders. Johan Bergelin: "The name of the brand 19-69 is a very strong statement. The year 1969 represents an era of freedom, tolerance, and counterculture. It is also the year I was born and my way of wearing my heart on my sleeve and saying: This is real. This is who I am."
