Higher Peace reveals itself lush-green and open-minded to different and new in notes of aromatic davana, tangy bergamot and spicy cardamom. A soft arrangement of hemp, coumarin and fresh hay soothes the initial excitement of the unfamiliar and gets the fragrance's message across: It's about never stopping learning. Johan Bergelin: “The scent Higher Peace is influenced by the Merry Pranksters and the retired schoolbus Furthur which enlightened America during the 60s. It's about never stopping learning. Letting your guard down, trying to understand each other and with that traveling through unknown waters. It is also a statement of peace, inspired by the values ​​of bagism, a term created by Lennon and Ono in 1969. The intent of bagism is avoiding prejudice and stereotyping by not judging others on the basis on skin color, gender, sexuality, age or others.”

19-69 Nineteen Sixtynine

Perfume cult brand 19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin. A twenty-four months long creative process with artisans in Scandinavia, France and Italy lead to the launch of 5 perfumes in 2017. Each scent is composed inspired by a different era, culture or setting from Africa, Europe, the States and Asia. Art, music, trends and cultures have all left their marks on the fragrances both in terms of content, name and packaging. All fragrances are suitable for any gender and allow the individual to explore beauty across the borders.

Das Konzept "Bottling counterculture" der Nischen-Marke nineteen sixty nine (19-69) aus Schweden lockt mich immer wieder mit seinen in Italien hergestellten Düften und Namen mit Bezug zur Popkultur der späten 60er und frühen 70er Jahre. An einem regnerischen Tag im Juli habe ich „Higher Peace“ ausprobiert. Das weichwürzige Bukett mit einer Hanfmitte auf einer leicht grünsüßlichen Basis umgibt an einem solchen Tag mit einer sehr angenehmen Aura. Diesen Duft kann ich all denjenigen Individualisten empfehlen, die einen besonderen und doch tragbaren Duft für einen milden Regentag suchen.
