Candle 04 – Smoked Black Tea, Mugwort, Birch

A charming scent that begins with the subtle, smoky aroma of black tea Lapsang Souchong, before the aromatic and botanical facets of the mugwort leaf give it a surprising and unexpected freshness. The Lapsang Souchong gains its intense, remarkably smoky, floral, and woody notes through the drying process after harvest, where the tea is smoked over a pine wood fire. Notes of birch wood then add depth and distinctive warm, sweet, and leathery undertones. In the right dosage, birch wood can give a fragrance depth and sweet-warm as well as leathery notes, which Bon Parfumeur has achieved with this scent.
The scented candles from Bon Parfumeur are made with love and passion. The composition of the wax is half mineral, half plant-based, and free from palm oil. Rapeseed wax is used, as this natural wax does not release toxic substances when burned and spreads a wonderfully fragrant scent! The wick is made of braided cotton to avoid black smoke.
