Yesterday - Eau de Parfum by Room 1015 evokes Room 1015, in a misty bathroom scene (cardamom steam).  A group of young souls (drizzle of bergamot) senses their prey in a virile raid (sizzling blue lavender pomade). The blade glides and cuts (geranium oxide). Not a single hair survives the ride. Over the smooth skin, crinkled with laughter and sprinkled with madness (crispy apple splash), grave waves of nostalgia glide (davana crash). Before they take the stage, these musicians think of yesterday in the stupor of days (Yesterday)…and play their hearts out today (An arm-wrestling battle between aristocratic vetiver, seemingly tame, and ambroxan, the sweat of divine lovers under another name).

Top notes: Bergamot, Cumin, Sweet Orange, Basil, Thyme, Cardamom Heart notes: Lavender, Rhubarb, Davana Base notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber Woods, Tonka Bean

Behind the Fragrance

“A fresh and aromatic fragrance inspired by a picture of the Beatles hangin’ out in a hotel bathroom, shaving and having fun. When I saw this pic, I immediately tried to imagine what the smell inside that bathroom would be: notes of vetiver? Lavender? Perhaps Sandalwood? The perfume YESTERDAY is built around a fern accord revisited in a modern way. Think YES TODAY! A tribute to the unique spirit of musicians, being kids and grown-ups at the same time, walking on the thin line between dream and reality, teenage years and adult world. Now, Remember: We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing! “Dr. Mike (Room 1015 Founder)

Room 1015

Imagine yourself transported back to a time when the Continental Hyatt Hotel, also known as the "Riot House", was the "Place to be". The 70s were a decade of total delirium for every self-respecting rock band, and LA was an inevitable stop on the journey. Motorcycles in the hallways, the overflowing rooftop pool, Jim Morrison dangling from a balcony, the epic drum battles of Keith Moon from The Who…Or, even more iconic: The Christ-like Robert Plant, who considered himself a golden god above the Sunset Strip. With his angelic hair, Nepalese bracelets, and tight T-shirt, he was convinced that he had finally found the stairway to heaven. Room 1015 remains a place of contemplation today. The nostalgia of an era of absolute freedom, where the air still smells of sweat, leather, fur, alcohol, burnt patchouli, and open flight cases...
